Please join us for an American Club of the Riviera Hike. This event will be in Monaco on Sunday, April 6th, 2025 at 9:30am and will feature breathtaking sea views. We will meet outside of the Monaco train station at the top level on Pont Sainte-Devote.
The easiest way to get there is by train (there is an eastbound train that arrives at 09:26am) but there are also a few parking garages within 500m of the meeting point if you prefer driving.
This event will be hosted by Karine Sanche, with the help of Adrian Ferramosca, an ACR member, and an experienced hiker.
This is a moderate hike that will take us to the heights of the Principality of Monaco. This route passes through the small town of La Turbie, known for its "Trophée des Alpes", a 35-meter-high monument built by the Romans in honor of Emperor Augustus. We will also go to the top of the "Tête de Chien", a summit from where we will have a superb viewpoint. Finally, note that it is a loop which will take us back to the starting point.

Please bring a packed lunch, water, and maybe a treat to share. Wear comfortable layered clothing, and hiking shoes. A hat, a light rain jacket, sun lotion, and sunglasses can come in handy.
