❖ GO Karting in Brignoles
There is also the possibility for those spending the weekend to attend Go-Karting sessions on Friday 1st from 9 to 12 AM and 2 to 5 PM or on Saturday from 9 to 12 AM and 2 to 5 PM as well. 4 well known Chefs in Provence, have made soups for the Lions Charity for Children with Leukemia and Cancer and we are hoping to have them available for tasting and sale at our event.
The 4 chefs are :
-Benoit WITZ from Restaurant 'Jardin Secret' at the hotel Lou Calen in Cotignac . One star from Michelin guide
- Nicolas PIERANTONI, restaurant de l'Hostellerie de l'Abbaye de La celle (created by DUCASSE )
- Benjamin BUFFERNE, restaurant 'La ferme LA Douceur' in Ramatuelle
- Bruno GAZAGNAIRE, restaurant ' Chez Bruno' à Saint Maximin
The chefs will not be present at the time. More information to follow as we get closer to the event
Tombola and Silent Auction
The funds raised with the Tombola and Silent Auction will be going to The Lions Club of Brignoles-St Maximin Charity to assist Children with Cancer and Leukemia and the Princess Grace Irish Library in Monaco.
I am happy to announce that the renowned artist Mrs. Jane Gemayel in conjunction with Galerie Adriano Ribolzi has generously donated a piece of Mrs. Gemayel's artwork for the evening's auction.
Here is a short description of that art work: “As a child, I was always fascinated with the proverb “eyes are the windows to the soul”. Eyes tell a story. We all carry our experiences throughout life and it shows in our eyes that we carry in our hearts…” so Follow your Heart ” Jane Gemayel. The value of Follow your Heart is 7.500 euros. Please note we have placed a reserve on the artwork.
In order to allow Members and Friends of the American Club of the Riviera to bid on this and other Silent Auction items that evening whether you are in attendance or not. We will be sending along a form with the Event announcement in the Newsletter so you can bid on any of the items listed and mail your bid to the attention of our President.
We have several prizes for the Silent Auction and Tombola including:
- Golf Barbaroux/ Hotel Mercure a one night stay including a meal for two people.
- A lunch for two persons at Le Pavyllon Monte-Carlo, a Yannick Alléno Restaurant at the Hotel Hermitage, Monte-Carlo
- A 100 euro voucher at Chez Pierre, Monaco
