
Please join us for an American Club of the Riviera Hike which will feature the Roquebrune Cap Martin fortress visit. This event will be in Roquebrune Cap Martin on Sunday, May 31st, 2026 at 10am. We will meet outside of the Roquebrune Cap Martin train station located at 17, avenue de la gare 06190 Roquebrune Cap Martin
Parking: The closest parking lot is Parking Cabbé located at 16, avenue Le Corbusier 06190 Roquebrune Cap Martin. Please note that this parking lot is only a couple minutes walk from the meeting point.
This event will be hosted by Karine Sanche and by Adrian Ferramosca, an ACR member, and an experienced hiker.
This loop trail is considered moderately challenging but does feature 700 steps at the start of the hike. This climb will take us to the old town of Roquebrune, a true medieval village that features a 10th century fortress as well as a famous millennial olive tree, and several other historical buildings.
It will be an easy stroll down, around the cap where the panorama over the bay of Roquebrune is truly magnificent.
Please note that we will use rocky and sometimes steep paths which require good balance and good overall physical health.

Dress Code: Hiking Shoes and layered clothing. Please bring a rain jacket and a hat, sun lotion, and sunglasses can come in handy.
