Please join us for an American Club of the Riviera Hike in the Var. This event will begin on Sunday, May 3rd, 2026 at 10am and will feature a 6-km loop trail near Le Muy in the Var, 20 minutes west of Frejus. Generally considered an easy route, this hike takes an average of 1 hour 40 minutes to complete. This is a very popular area for hiking and running, so we will likely encounter other people while exploring. The trail is open year-round and is beautiful to visit anytime. Dogs are welcome, but must be on a leash. Magnificent scenery, including two lakes along the trail. Not difficult, this hike can be done with children who like to walk. For the little ones, bring a baby carrier. Not accessible to baby carriages/strollers. Join us for an optional after-hike lunch at a bistro in the nearby village of La Motte.
Meeting place and parking: We will meet at 170 Chemin des Pesquiers, 83490 Le Muy, France, where there is plenty of parking along the street.
This event will be hosted by Valerie Belon, an ACR member, and an experienced hiker.
