Living in France but looking for an authentic American experience? Join the American Club of the Riviera for a lively evening celebrating one of America’s favorite pastimes as we kick off the baseball season on May 7 at By Bambou in Cannes.
This special gathering will be hosted by Sam Horn, former first-round draft pick of the Boston Red Sox, home run slugger, and fan favorite known as the “Fenway Fridge.”
With an 11-year Major League career where he played in the major leagues on teams including; Red Sox, Orioles, Indians & Rangers. Off season played in Mexico, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and continued involvement with the Red Sox as Corporate Ambassador and host of What is Your PreGame?, Sam will share stories, baseball trivia, and memorable moments from the world of Major League Baseball.
This will be a lively and interactive experience, bringing together baseball fans and newcomers alike in a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Guests will enjoy a mix of engaging trivia, video highlights from the world of Major League Baseball, and behind-the-scenes stories that bring the game to life. The experience will be enhanced by live musical moments, with professional singer and songwriter, ACR member Cynthia Queenton, joined by ACR member Victoria Conte, leading a selection of well-loved baseball songs. Throughout the evening, there will be plenty of opportunities to participate, connect with others, test your knowledge, and even win a few prizes along the way.
Dinner will include your choice of one menu item and one beverage. After the event concludes at 8 pm, the bar will remain open for those who wish to stay and continue the evening together.
Whether you are a lifelong baseball fan or simply looking for a fun evening out with fellow members and friends, this promises to be a memorable night.

Please send us your reservation payment as soon as possible, but no later than Wednesday, April 29th , unless sold out before. Without payment, your reservation cannot be confirmed. There will be no payments accepted at the door. Cancellations past April 29th are not refundable. When booking, please indicate any dietary restrictions, seating preferences and names of any guests you have registered.
