Founded in the 18th century, the Opéra de Nice is home to the Ballet Nice Méditerranée and the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra, and hosts a rich program of operas, ballets, and classical concerts throughout the year.
This elegant evening will include an opportunity to meet Pontus Lidberg, the esteemed Director of Ballet at the Opéra de Nice. Pontus is an internationally acclaimed choreographer, filmmaker, and dancer whose works have been performed by world-renowned companies including the Paris Opera Ballet, New York City Ballet, Les Ballets de Monte Carlo, and the Royal Swedish Ballet.
His company, Pontus Lidberg Dance, has appeared at prestigious venues such as The Joyce Theater in New York, La Biennale di Venezia, and the Havana International Ballet Festival.
Enjoy a relaxed evening of conversation, culture, and connection in this beautiful setting - a perfect way to close the season before the holidays begin.
This event is FREE for American Club of the Riviera Members and Members of the France–United States Association of Nice and France.
A nominal fee of €15 is requested for guests to attend this event.
